YouTube videos

(1) This website embeds videos from the YouTube platform. The platform is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

(2) If you have not given your consent to the use of YouTube plugins in the cookie banner, YouTube videos are disabled by default, meaning that no data is transferred to Google when you visit our website. If you want to watch a YouTube video, you must click on the “Accept” button above the video in question. When you click on this button, a connection to Google’s servers is established. This tells the Google server which of our pages you have visited. Google may also store various cookies on your device or use similar technologies for recognition purposes (e.g., device fingerprinting). This allows Google to obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent fraud attempts. If you are logged into your YouTube account, clicking on the plugin also allows Google to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

(3) Further information on how Google handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

(4) It cannot be ruled out that Google may also transfer your data to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This transfer is based on an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR. It applies to US companies that are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the US that is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards when processing data in the US. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. For more information, enter “Google LLC” in the search bar here.

(5) The legal basis for the transfer of your data to Google is your consent within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG, which you give by clicking on the “Accept” button. Consent can be revoked at any time in the cookie settings on our website.

Consent Manager Plattform consentmanager (CMP)

(1) Our website uses the consent manager platform “consentmanager” from consentmanager AB, Håltegelvägen 1b, 72348 Västerås, Sweden (“consentmanager”) to obtain your consent to store certain cookies on your device and to document this in accordance with data protection regulations.

(2) When you visit our website, a connection is established to the consentmanager servers in order to obtain your consent and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. Consentmanager then stores a cookie in your browser to assign the consents you have given or their revocation. The data collected in this way is stored until you request us to delete it, delete the CMP cookie yourself, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal retention obligations remain unaffected.

(3) CMP is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR. Further information can be found in consentmanager’s privacy policy.

Google Tag Manager (GTM)

(1) On this website, we use the organization tool “Google Tag Manager” (GTM), a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). GTM is a tool that helps us integrate tracking or statistics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and other technologies into our website. GTM itself does not create user profiles, store cookies, or perform independent analyses. It is used solely for the management and display of the tools integrated via it. GTM collects your IP address and forwards it to Google Analytics.

(2) The legal basis for the use of GTM is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG.

(3) For details, please refer to Google’s privacy policy.

(4) It cannot be ruled out that Google may also transfer your data to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the US that is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards when data is processed in the US. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. For more information, enter “Google LLC” in the search bar here.

Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website.

(2) Google Analytics is used exclusively with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”, which ensures anonymization of the IP address by truncation and excludes direct personal reference. The extension truncates your IP address by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server and then truncated.

(3) On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

(4) The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your truncated IP address) is usually transmitted to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and stored there. The transfer of your data to Google LLC is based on an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR. This applies to US companies that are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
